Embarked as the media venture of Khrist Jyoti Province, Punjab – Rajasthan of the Little Flower Congregation (CST Fathers), Jyoti Media tries to enkindle the dying out humanitarian flames in the lantern of the human heart reverberating the same creative spell that dawned the world, “Let there be light”. Jyoti Media is actively present in the field since 2019 creating a unique profile of itself amidst a mass litter of scrap media. It creatively responds to exigency to comply with the challenges and concerns of our time strictly upholding Christian values in a largely material world. Its undertakings include diverse and copious activities that creatively weave together both the online and offline strands of our life. These activities vary from daily WhatsApp statuses to Short Films and mind-blowing competitions.
Nazrathile Ashari, our Sunday bible reflection series, has a good number of viewers and is noted for its deviation from the usual Sermon on the Mount stereotypes. This creative outreach of the province is further strengthened by the inauguration of the Jyoti Media centre at Hanumangarh Jn., Rajasthan on 14 November 2022 by Rev. Fr. George Aranchery CST the Vicar General of the Little Flower Congregation. Thereupon the centre serves as the technical hub that centralizes the different dynamics of Jyoti Media. It could host the recordings of two Christian Punjabi songs so far. In this digitalised virtual world age, preserving humanitarian values is the ultimate challenge and duty of every Christian. Jyoti Media definitely holds forth the supreme values written down in the human heart. After all, it’s a matter of making the world better than yesterday
